We dropped down off of I-10 and drove along Hwy 90 for awhile so we could see what was happening in the areas where Hurricane Katrina hit so hard. These pictures were taken as we drove down the road so they're kind of hard to see. The ocean is right there so when Katrina came ashore everything was wiped out. 
There are blocks after blocks of lots for sale. Some of them have been cleaned up. Some still have the foundations of the homes left on them. Then there are homes that have been rebuilt. So you have a beautiful home then empty lots and then a new home and next to it an empty shell oif a home.
Not a lot of business have come back through here except for fast food and hotels.
